Never Coming Down Again
(John 14:16-17 )

When I breathe you in,

Something beautiful begins.

It’s like nothing else exists,

Just you and I entwined in the silence.

And the sky opens up and I’m free to fly,

Like I’m never coming down again.

And time doesn’t ever die, ‘cause I am too alive,

Like I’m never coming down again.

When you say my name,

It’s like a whisper traveling on an endless wave.

You draw me into yourself,

And lead me through the gates of another realm.

And the sky opens up and I’m free to fly,

Like I’m never coming down again.

And time doesn’t ever die, ‘cause I am too alive,

Like I’m never coming down again.

When I breathe you in,

Something beautiful begins.

It’s like nothing else exists,

Just you and I entwined in the silence.

And the sky opens up and I’m free to fly,

Like I’m never coming down again.

And time doesn’t ever die, ‘cause I am too alive,

Like I’m never coming down again.

Teach My Heart
(Psalm 139)

I've got a choice to make - a direction to choose.

And everybody stumbles one time or another,

Just trying to decide what to do.

But in your time, your will not mine,

I want to listen...I want to hear the truth.

Where can I go without you?

I'll make for you a home in my heart.

Teach my heart to seek you,

so I know that I'm coming 'round,

You search me and you hear me,

before I speak or make a sound.

Help me on the journey,

guide my feet to solid ground

And balance my afflictions,

because I'm weak and I'm feeling down.

Where would I go without you?

I'll keep for you a home in my heart.

In what I say and what I fail to do.

And everybody struggles one way or another,

J Just trying to reside in the truth.

But in your time, your will not mine,

Mine is your mission and myself to lose.

Where can I go without you?

I'll keep for you a home in my heart.

Teach my heart to seek you,

so I know that I'm coming 'round,

You search me and you hear me,

before I speak - or make a sound.

So help me on the journey,

guide my feet to higher ground,

And balance my afflictions,

in my disease I'm breaking down.

Where would I be without you?

I’ll keep for you a home in my heart.

Mother
(Isaiah 49:15)

I know that I might seem in the way,

Like a cog in the wheel of the plans you made.

I promise you that I am not a mistake,

But a gift to you from God, a breath of grace.

Mother… Mother… Mother,

Please don’t take my breath away.

I hear the rhythm of you beating in my heart,

Like a song I can’t stop singing, once it starts.

Don’t let the butterflies carry you away,

Can’t you hear the Lamb of God pleading, “Mother...Stay”.

Mother… Mother… Mother,

Please don’t stop my heart today.

Mother! Mother! Mother!

Please don’t take my life!

Mother! Mother! Mother!

Please don’t take my life!

Mother! Mother! Mother!

Please don’t take my life today.

Souled Out
(Mark 8:36)

Selling their lies, a poisoned recipe,

Of discounted love, they want no one to see.

Marketing evil for profit and greed,

They won’t promote our sacred, one true need.

The wait for life to go on sale timed out.

There’s nothing left upon the shelf – all out.

Salvation through God’s currency,

A price already paid but they souled out.

Buying their lies, when pure grace was free.

The sin of self-hate, such misery.

Believing we can do it on our own,

When every day we feel so damn alone.

That emptiness inside ourselves cries out.

The pain of life’s lost meaning screams,

BREAK OUT!

Redemption through God’s mercy,

A gift we received for free, but we souled out.

You played life as a gamble, then struck out.

So stop before you’ve lost it all, cash out.

The game was rigged - you still believed,

Agreed to be deceived?  You chose souled out.

Don’t follow them, they’ve all souled out.

I should know, I once souled out.

We should know, we once souled out.

Hear the whisper of God within…Listen,

Don’t be souled out.

First And Always
(St. Anthony of Padua)

Soul to soul, one to one,

Sometimes the knot you tied

seems to be undone.

Not for lack of effort and not for lack of time,

But do the plans you offer meet with mine?

And I know you try - I know that you two try,

But there’s no life at home without Divine.

Love me first and always,

believe and be satisfied,

Or the love you want, will pass you by.

You see until you’re ready

and the one for you is ready,

I can’t give you the dream I have in mind.

Just trust in me,

And believe in the greatest things,

I’ll bring you both together when its time.

And I know you try - I know that you two try,

But there’s no life to live without Divine.

Love me first and always,

believe and be satisfied.

I need you just to be and not to drive.

I’ve known you both already

and my love for you is steady,

Seek yourselves in me and you will find.

Just keep watching me,

And believe in the greatest things,

I’ll heal you both together, give it time.

Via Dolorosa
(John 19, Mark 15, Luke 23, Matthew 27)

Down the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day,

The soldiers tried to clear the narrow street.

But the crowd pressed in to see,

The Man condemned to die on Calvary.

He was bleeding from a beating,

There were stripes upon His back,

And He wore a crown of thorns upon His head.

And He bore with every step,

The scorn of those who cried out for His death.

Down the Via Dolorosa

called the way of suffering

Like a lamb came the Messiah,

Christ the King.

But He chose to walk that road

out of love for you and me,

Down the Via Dolorosa,

all the way to Calvary.

The blood that would cleanse

the souls of all men,

Made it's way through the heart of Jerusalem.

Down the Via Dolorosa

called the way of suffering

Like a lamb came the Messiah,

Christ the King.

But He chose to walk that road

out of love for you and me,

Down the Via Dolorosa,

all the way to Calvary.

Signs & Petitions
(Psalm 119, Matthew 11, Luke 2)

Sometimes I'm blind to the signs,

Sometimes I see and turn the other way.

Sometimes I listen, I listen,

But still do not hear what you have to say.

Sometimes I'm stable,

And sometimes a breeze can blow me away.

Sometimes I'm spiritual, spiritual,

Sometimes I will not be reached today.

But later on I realize that you've shown me,

Later on I realize that you're there.

Later on I realize you've told me,

Later on I realize that you care.

Your my rock and my salvation,

This is not a game of solitaire.

You said come to me

all you hearts that are weary,

Come to me and I will give you rest.

Just learn from me - gentle and lowly,

Learn from me and your soul will be its best.

So bend my heart and save me,

please save me.

Keep my eyes, from what I will regret.

By your word give me life and direct me,

Always be a lamp for my steps.

And protect us as we stay awake, stay awake,

Guard over us as we sleep.

That awake we may keep watch

with Jesus Christ,

and lying down we'll rest in his peace.

The Balance
(Ephesians 4)

Woke up this morning, eyes in a haze,

Declined and so blind, I wandered away.

Danced in the world with a veil upon my face,

The familiar imposter slides into place.

Set my foot in conviction,

but my hand hesitates,

When you glance at the twilight,

the bright of the sun fades.

Am I the seed on rocky ground

withered and swept away?

Or am I sown in thorns

so easily led astray?

Want to put on the new man,

in the light of a new day,

Spent time in my prison,

it’s time to escape.

If my walk's to be worthy,

I gotta rise and make it straight,

To the way and the truth and the life,

to strive for the narrow gate.

They continue nip me,

Lord - tip the balance to you.

They give me all kind of reasons

to detonate the fuse.

Help me to decide,

To conquer not to divide,

Help me to be free,

Lord, tip the balance to you.

Want to put on the new man,

in the light of a new day,

You give me consolation,

my trials you erase.

Bent down but not broken,

gonna rise and get it straight,

To the way and the truth and the life,

to pass through the narrow gate.

Show Me The Way To Freedom
(2 Corinthians 3:17)

It feels like I’m running on empty,

Waitin' for the Lord to send me,

signs that show me the way to freedom.

Its like I’ve been mending fences,

But gettin' stuck in the mud defenseless,

while the wolves of the world

are running me over.

But I’ve never been higher than I am now.

Down on my knees praying to my Super Power.

I’m letting go of the reins,

show me the way to freedom.

I oughta be walking on sunshine,

but instead I’ve been walking a thin line,

On the edge, looking down

and it’s making me dizzy.

Ain’t no use in pretending,

Ain’t never gonna find my happy ending,

‘til the Lord shows me the way to freedom.

But I’ve never been higher than I am now.

Down on my knees praying to my Super Power.

I’m letting go of the reins,

show me the way to freedom.

Oh freedom…freedom…freedom.

I’m letting go of the reins...

I’m letting go of the reins...

I’m letting go of the reins...

I’m letting go of the reins…

Show me the way to freedom.

Flicker Flash
(St. John of the Cross)

Like a tree in the forest,

I was rooted down.

I grew as the others grew,

Swayed by the wind.

Then I fell upon my knees,

Or maybe I was cut down.

I was the broken one,

On the cold and barren ground.

First light, then warmth,

The fire is strong!

Burn through my heart,

This flame of love.

Flicker flash in me,

Oh Spirit, flicker flash in me.

Flicker flash in me,

Flicker flash in me.

First light, then warmth,

I’m not alone!

Breathe in my heart,

Oh, living flame of love!

Let It Be Done
(Luke 1)

Earth has become heaven,

Because you said, "Yes".

"Let it be done", for all of us,

The days of Eve have passed.

You, immaculate daughter,

Waiting for God's hand.

The gift of love, which saved us all,

You formed divine with man.

How is it, my Mother,

You've come to me at last?

To do the Will we're created for,

Such a simple ask.

So let it be done my Mother,

From my lips now to say,

For me you stand between Heaven and earth,

Show your child the Way.

The greatness of the Lord my soul proclaims,

The Father has done great things for me,

And Holy, Holy, Holy is His name.

The greatness of the Lord my soul proclaims,

The Father has done great things for me,

And Holy, Holy, Holy is His name.

Let it be done, my Mother,

Let it be done, my Lord.

Let it be done.

Sidewalk
(Evangelium Vitae: Pope St. John Paul II)

Can't you hear the rhythm keeping time?

Don't you feel the movement deep inside?

<Ruah>

I'm not here to tell you,

This won’t change your life.

But it’s not just you we're talking about,

So who has got the right?

I'm not here with all the answers,

You've got to decide.

Don't do away with love,

Don't let life take a life.

I'm not here to argue,

The sidewalk draws the line.

But I'll walk beside you,

And hope to change your mind.

This arrival is not a rival,

Put those thoughts aside.

Don't turn away from love...

Some people say, “It's not your business,”

It’s up to you - You don't have to fear this!

I'm not here to preach religion

for you to take a side,

This is a life to love!

Don't turn a blind eye.

Some people say, “It's not your business,”

So it’s up to you - Got to be fearless!

I'm not here to preach religion

for you to take a side,

You see its life and love!

 Don't turn a blind eye.

Overcome
(John 19, Matthew 28, Acts 2)

From the tip of the spear

flowed mercy and life.

From thorns woven into a crown

came a halo so bright.

From the death of a man,

to the rise of the Son,

From a world of tragedy,

He has overcome.

From a dark tomb

to incomparable light.

From I will not believe

to a hand in His side.

From fear in the upper room

to tongues of fire!

An inscription on the cross

to the Word inspired.

I know I must be born again

to have eternal life,

I know the battle has been won,

but still I have to fight.

A ransom paid for me,

as if I were the only one,

Not worthy to receive,

I am overcome.

I know I must be born again

to have eternal life,

I know the battle has been won,

but still I have to fight.

A ransom paid for me,

as if I were the only one,

Not worthy to receive,

I am overcome.

Signs & Petitions

I see you lookin' at me,

through your weary eyes.

In them, a storm brewin',

something I recognize.

I've been there too...inside the blue.

If you could, i know that you would

grow some wings and fly.

You'd run right into the sun,

in the rays of love you'd lie.

I've been there too...inside the blue.

But you are not alone,

there are angels beside you.

A million brilliant lights...inside the blue.

I hear you in the silence you keep,

you're a song that's not been sung.

Solo, you're trippin' alone,

to the beat of your own drum.

I've been there too...inside the blue.

If you could, I know that you would

kick down Heaven's door.

You'd land right into the hands

of the man Who saved us all.

I've been there too...inside the blue.

But you are not alone,

there are angels beside you.

A million brilliant lights...inside the blue.

Lift your head up, dont look down,

You're a gem in Heaven's crown.

God made you a shooting star,

born to travel wide and far.

Ya' been so long inside the blue,

You can't see the colors that are you.

So raise your arms up to the sky,

give those wings a chance to fly.

Cuz you are not alone,

there are angels beside you.

A million brilliant lights...inside the blue.

Inside The Blue
(Psalm 55, Psalm 91)

Inside The Blue

Reset
(Matthew 18)

Relax, reminded what's true...Reset.

There's time to renew,

relax, with love to feel light.

Because everything's gonna be alright.

There's time to renew,

relax, with love to feel light.

You have been born again,

therefore don't lose heart.

Renew and know the love of God.

There's time to renew,

relax, with love to feel light.

Because everything's gonna be alright,

everything's gonna be alright,

everything's gonna be,

everything's gonna be alright.

 Friday Song
(1 Cor, St. Teresa of Avila)

Friday Song

Dear Children
(Dedicated to Our Lady)

A walk upon the hill,

Their Mother, dressed in blue and white,

(A vision) Crowned with stars.

Dear Children! I call you in a special way,

Grace is here, time is short

but do not be afraid.

Dear Children! God's love is with you all,

Pray for peace and thank you

for responding to my call.

I've stayed with you so long,

God in His mercy,

But you don't know how to love,

Surrender.

Dear Children! you're still so far away,

The world itself is fading

and now's the time to pray.

Dear Children! pride goes before the fall,

Turn to my Son and thank you

for responding to my call.

He has left his footprints,

(Climb) What do you hope to see?

A change of human hearts

is what I am asking.

A change in human hearts

is what I am asking.

Dear Children! I've taught you how to pray,

Bring peace through works of mercy,

the hour's growing late.

Dear Children! no effort is too small,

Seek the Word and thank you

for responding to my call.

Seek the Word and thank you

for responding to my call.

When I'm not on my knees,
sometimes I feel, I can do as I please.
Is that the meaning of free?
And is that who I was created to be?

Hope is on the journey

and I'm trying hard to see.
What does it take to live in faith

and whom am I to please?

But it's a long, long road,
I need a shoulder - help me carry the load.
It's a hard way back,
I need a prayer just to stay on the track.

So tired of running around,
I keep stomping the same old ground.
I've got to play it to win,
Keep the faith or take on the chin.

Hope is on the journey

and I'm looking for the key.
Maybe I'm the person

who sets the trap for me?

And its a long, long road,

I need a shoulder - help me carry the load.
It's a hard way back,
I need some peace to survive the attack!

So let nothing trouble you,

no fear in your eyes.
Everything changes,

God alone survives.
Put away all your worries,

even if you've gone astray.
You can reach for something

that is good today.

It's a long, long road,
Jesus is the shoulder to carry the load.
Just take in the slack,
He'll be there to welcome you back.

It's a long, long road,
It's a long, long road,
It's a long, long road.
